2023 UKHC Speakers: Jackie Thomson – I see you but who are you?

JackieThomson

We couldn’t fit all of our remaining presenter videos in last week, so it’s our penultimate day of them today.

We welcome Jackie Thomson to the UK Hypnosis Convention as another one of our first-time presenters this year…

“We all have a story, whether it’s just a few chapters or a long novel, and I have my story too. I’ve been interested in spirituality and the mind-body connection for as long as I can remember, so when a challenging life event gave me an opportunity to re-examine the way I lived my life I took it and completely turned my life around. Now I have a thriving practice in North Wales as well worldwide online, and I’m passionate about helping people write their own happy endings.”

Jackie’s presentation is titled: “I see what you do, but who are you?”

In the realm of therapy, establishing rapport is so important. We’ve all experienced moments where we felt an immediate connection with someone; we felt seen and heard. That connection is the heartbeat of effective hypnotherapy.

As hypnotherapists, it’s not just about the techniques we employ; it’s also about creating a space where clients feel safe, heard and understood. By sharing a little bit of ourselves, we start to build those connections before even reaching the therapy room.

It’s almost like inviting them into your world, establishing a place of trust and understanding.
