The Hypnotic Art of Wonder

How laughter, enjoyment and brilliant hypnosis enhance the therapeutic relationship and… therapy results.

By incorporating elements of light-heartedness and creativity in the therapy session, we can subconsciously bypass the critic’s defences and connect deeply with our client.

The use of creativity, humour, and wonder can evoke a powerful response from our client, exciting their imagination and opening their minds. So, how do we make therapy sessions more enjoyable and, therefore, effective?

All the above is possible using the art of ethical stage hypnosis in the therapy room. Our client is visiting us for hypnotherapy, so why not inspire them with some incredible, awe-inspiring stage hypnosis techniques? Are we scared to test them and test ourselves? Frightened about what to do if our techniques fail? Will we break rapport, lose their belief, or continue seamlessly until we have achieved the desired results? Stage hypnotists have to exude confidence and certainty and demonstrate hypnotic phenomena quickly and easily. David shows how you can use these skills confidently in the therapy room and when giving lecture demonstrations.

David Bolton has been using hypnosis to entertain, educate and help people for over 30 years. David is an experienced stage performer and has been featured as the hypnotist on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. David is proud to serve on the committee of the Federation of Ethical Stage Hypnotists and is passionate about promoting stage hypnosis as safe, fascinating and highly entertaining.
