It Isn't Hypnosis or Therapy, so What Is It?

The Ericksonian Approach is often taught as something complex, as being indirect or conversational made up of a myriad of confusing language patterns and advanced techniques. This couldn’t be farther from the truth.

In reality, the Ericksonian Approach isn’t about hypnosis or therapy, it is about how you approach the change work you are doing. In this presentation, you will learn the principles behind the apparent complexity and the true nature of the Ericksonian Approach.

I started learning hypnosis aged 13. In 1997 I began working and training in mental health and in 2001 I started a private hypnotherapy practice. I resonated with an Ericksonian Approach and Solution Focused Therapy. These became my main areas of focus over the years. I started teaching hypnotherapists in 2004 and teaching a hypnotherapy diploma from 2007. I now teach many online courses and have written over 30 books on hypnosis and therapy.
