Today, I interview Kaz Riley, a Hypnotist, international trainer and popular UKHC speaker. She mentors hypnotists in 17 countries and is the founder of Sexual Freedom Hypnosis, you can check out the rest of her impressive bio at the convention website.
I was in Kaz’s presentation last year and following it, she very diligently ran a Facebook poll in the UKHC group which yielded some interesting results that Kaz shares here. She goes on to explain how the findings have shaped this year’s presentation, a two hour, comprehensive presentation entitled The Vaginismus Monologues.
Ask most therapists about working with sexual dysfunction and what they need to know – the majority will focus in on male sexual dysfunction. Ask the same question to client groups and it’s the females that are crying out for help.
Kaz talks about the importance behind why this presentation looks at working with sexual dysfunction with both males and females and the difference between the two.
I also ask her about the market for this type of issue and we discuss the advantages of becoming a specialist in this area as a more open attitude towards sex becomes culturally acceptable and an interesting side effect of an increase in the incidence of sexual dysfunction and a wider range of sexual issues emerges.
