We have once again woken in the New Year and despite outward appearances we have not been in hibernation! We have been incredibly busy developing the website, organising, hatching plans and generally working hard to ensure that the upcoming 2025 UK Hypnosis Convention is the biggest and best ever, and serves the hypnotherapy field greatly.
Today, I have 3 announcements for you.
This first one is to say that speaker applications for the 2025 UK Hypnosis Convention are now open. The deadline date is the 17th of March, so there is a month to apply.

Last year we had far more applications than we had speaker slots. This year we anticipate having even more applications for the same number of speaker slots.
Prior to the 2024 UKHC, I recorded a video (that is still on point for our requirements and regarding feedback) giving advice on how to increase your chances of making a successful speaker application, here it is again:
We are looking for more presentations on clinical applications, we want thoroughly prepared presentations, we want fresh presentations (i.e. we won’t be accepting the same presentations given at the UKHC previously, and not those that have been seen elsewhere within the same calendar year), we want no unsubstantiated claims being made, and nothing that is going to bring the field into disrepute. Be professional, be prepared, and then we want those who will share and promote their presentation.
There’ll be 3 simultaneous tracks of speakers again, except for our keynote and Sunday interview spots. We will be having a Saturday academic track in one of the rooms again, and on Sunday we shall be having a stage, street and performance track – so we also are happy for stage, street and performance aspects of hypnosis covered in entertaining, experienced and credible ways.
Read the booking form. Watch the video. Those that do so stand a far, far greater chance of being selected as a speaker. Those that did neither last year were those who we ended up sending rejection emails to.
With it being the day we open speaker applications, I thought you’d like to know about this year’s keynote speaker and who we have as our live on stage Sunday afternoon interview, so I will be announcing both of those in a short while here too. Stay tuned, I think you’ll like what we have in store….
