Here, we have more responsibility. We learn how to make Safety Plans that help improve clients’ safety, and give ourselves an element of cover legally. We need to have this and other Paperwork in place, so that if/when asked by relevant authorities to provide copies, as evidence of our safe and professional practice, we can do. Similarly, if called to give evidence in Court. There will be Templates for you to take away and use.

Julie May is a Lecturer in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, teaching the HPD and post-graduate CPDs; also teaching staff from Camhs, NHS, Social Services. Julie is a Supervisor with the NCH supervising Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists. Julie also works as a Private Tutor, preparing Hypnotherapists to take the HPD with the NCH. Julie studied a degree in the Psychology of Education at the University of Manchester, is a Person-Centred Therapist and for ten years a Hypnotherapist.
