Peter Kingsford Petley
This is a new approach to resolve past traumas/events that are still affecting the client in the present. QTA suggests that there are multiple timelines available, many of which are preferable from the one taken by the client that resulted in their present remembered history. This means that a client can go back and choose a new ‘departure point’ in their history, creating a slightly divergent ‘timeline’ by means of consciously changing an action or thought in their past prior to the unwanted event.
Peter Kingsford Petley is a senior clinical hypnotherapist who specialises in treating healing of memories, working with actors, and a range of stress and anxiety-related issues. He is certified by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, and holds the Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice (SQHP) and is registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR). Peter’s approach to therapy is eclectic and includes elements of Gestalt, and NLP, all within a firm foundation of Ericksonian psychology.
