Mirroring Hands: An Effective Therapy for Every Client

How Being Client-Responsive Eliminates Resistance, Trance Inhibition and Abbreaction

Richard Hill

Presented by

Richard Hill

The practice of Mirroring Hands emerged in the 1980’s from the work of Ernest Rossi with Milton Erickson, continued now with Richard Hill.

We will share in practical demonstrations, but also learn what is behind being a client-responsive therapist.

It is a unique experience to stand back and allow the client to find their best therapeutic connection with their own natural problem-solving and mind to body healing. It is how non-directive therapy is best practised today.

Richard Hill is a practising psychotherapist/counsellor, author, and supervisor. He developed a Curiosity Oriented Approach for therapeutic practice and daily life; is mentored by Ernest Rossi, PhD; and is co-author of The Practitioner’s Guide to Mirroring Hands, with Rossi who was mentored by Milton Erickson. Richard is Managing Editor of The Science of Psychotherapy magazine and holds several Masters degrees. Other books include Choose Hope and How the ‘real world’ Is Driving Us Crazy!
