This ‘deep dive’ workshop will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to work with lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT+) clients. You will learn about terminology, identities, issues faced by LGBT+ people and how that may present in the therapy room, equality laws, barriers to accessing therapy, and how to be an LGBT+ affirmative therapist. You’ll also create your own LGBT+ affirmative therapist action plan to help you put what you learn into practice.
