Daniel Browne is a leading authority on LGBT+ affirmative therapy. In private practice since 2009, Daniel specialises in working with lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT+) people. He is also a trainer and delivers talks, workshops and training internationally to therapists wishing to boost their knowledge and confidence in working with LGBT+ clients. He’s a published author and was named by the Independent on Sunday among the most influential LGBT+ people in the UK.

This ‘deep dive’ workshop will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to work with lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT+) clients. You will learn about terminology, identities, issues faced by LGBT+ people and how that may present in the therapy room, equality laws, barriers to accessing therapy, and how to be an LGBT+ affirmative therapist. You’ll also create your own LGBT+ affirmative therapist action plan to help you put what you learn into practice.
