Imposter syndrome isn’t just self-doubt. And if we treat it that way, we risk missing what’s really driving it.
For many clients, imposter syndrome is the internalised impact of inequality, exclusion, and years of over-functioning in systems that were never designed for them. It shows up in the subconscious as protective patterns keeping people stuck in overworking, people-pleasing, and a persistent sense of “not enough.”
In this session, we’ll move beyond surface-level approaches and rethink how imposter syndrome is understood and treated in practice. We’ll explore how identity and lived experience shape subconscious beliefs, and why traditional mindset tools often fall short with high-performing clients.
Using the Beyond the Barriers™ 4R Framework, I’ll share a structured and practical approach to help practitioners recognise these patterns, work with them safely, and support clients to create lasting change. Attendees can expect practical tools, clinical insight, and real case examples they can apply immediately in their work and to their own lives.
