Role of the person ‘in charge’ of the room:
- Checking entry badges
- Count of delegates
- Introducing presenter, title of talk, and ask audience for round of applause
- Count how many people leave before the end!
- Timing – Giving presenter 10/5 min warning
- Thank the speaker
- Hand out feedback forms at the door
When your name is listed next to a room, you are responsible for doing all of the above. If you are listed to ‘open’, you are responsible for steps 1-4. If you are listed to ‘close’, you are responsible for 4-7.
If anyone wants to swap with each other, thats fine, as long as we know and the room is covered.
‘Floater’ = person has free time to either attend a presentation or help on front desk
