Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Entering information into contact forms generates an email containing the entered information which is sent to info@ukhypnosisconvention.co.uk.  We use this information to respond to your enquiry and you email and subsequent response may be kept stored within our email system.

Applications

Any information entered in an application form on this website is both emailed to us and stored in the site’s database. We use this information to process your application and we keep your application on file.

Orders and Payments

This site accepts information on orders including personal information such as your name and email address. We use this information to process your order and this information is stored in the website database. The website communicates this information by email our administration team.

Payments are handled by a third party secure payment gateway (PayPal) which is separate to this site. This site does not collect or store payment information such as payment account or credit card details but does get a confirmation if a payment is as part of processing your order.

Your ticket information may be shared with third parties where essential to the running of the convention. For example in the preparation of welcome packs. Your information is also printed on hardcopy tickets for you use during the convention.

Information can be retained for up to four years.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
