Supporting neurodivergent children and teenagers requires more than just understanding their needs—it demands a structured, practical, and compassionate approach that empowers both them and their families. In this presentation, I introduce The S.E.R.E.N.S. Method, a transformative framework designed to help neurodivergent young people build confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation while equipping parents, carers, and professionals with effective tools for support.
Drawing from my experience as a clinical hypnotherapist and the parent of a non-verbal autistic child, I will explore the six key components of The S.E.R.E.N.S. Method and how they can be integrated into daily life. This approach prioritises improving sleep, emotional regulation, reducing anxiety, and fostering a deeper understanding of neurodivergent experiences.
Attendees will gain practical strategies they can apply immediately, whether working one-on-one with neurodivergent individuals or supporting them within families and educational settings. By the end of this session, you will leave with a clearer roadmap for helping neurodivergent children and teens thrive—not just cope.
This presentation is ideal for therapists, educators, parents, and carers seeking an evidence-based yet deeply empathetic approach to neurodivergent support.
