Do you work with children and teenagers who have difficulty attending school due to emotional factors such as anxiety, fear, distress, etc? Perhaps EBSA Autism, AuDHD or ADHD. Or Emetophobia.
In the UK, 20 – 25% of pupils CAN’T go to school (not won’t), at some point in their education.
The mental health challenges and emotional reactions to a school environment can lead to very low or intermittent absences, as well as prolonged absences from education. This affects Academic progress and the well-being of the young person, due to isolation etc. Many haven’t attended for 6 months to 2 years, or even longer.
Come and learn how Hypnotherapists and Hypnotists can help these children and young people back into school.
WHAT WE’LL COVER:
How we can work together with any or all of a child and young persons’ Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Case Worker, Head of Year, School SEN coordinator, Pastoral, NHS staff, GP and Parents, in a multi-disciplined approach to help facilitate solutions quickly and effectively.
For those unable to attend due to illness, learn about original, fun, exciting ways they can learn, that you probably never heard of! Real outside the box, futuristic thinking!
