ALL THE INFORMATION YOU NEED FOR WHEN YOU ARRIVE

We would like to ensure that you have been given all of the necessary information you need concerning your arrival, accommodation and participation in the UK Hypnosis Convention, 2nd-5th November 2018.

Here you will find all of the relevant information. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions. We very much look forward to meeting you in person. We trust that you will enjoy the your time with us filled with useful information and make the most of the opportunities to network, catch up with old friends and make many new ones.

TICKETS

You can book using the button on the left to purchase your ticket using credit card and PayPal. At our convention welcome desk you will be provideed with a welcome pack containing a lanyard and name badge. Pre and post-convention seminars must also be booked and paid for separately.

Presentations and Seat Reservations

It is neither neccessary nor possible to reserve seats for individual presentations. We assume that the rooms are big enough to accomodate all participants. We will endeavour to film EVERY lecture in 2018 and make this economically accessible to all attendees!

Accommodation – Hotels

The UK Hypnosis Convention 2018 has outgrown its previous home and has now moved to The Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow. To take advantage of delegate rates on limited rooms, please use the link HERE

Arrival

Please check in at the hotel by yourself (guest rooms unless advised otherwise are the responsibility of the guests and the hotel). On Friday evening 2nd November we will organize an informal get together for speakers, aides and participants in The Waterloo Suite - a designated private area of the hotel. This will commence at 7pm. On Friday evening from 5 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 7.30 a.m. you can register yourself at the welcome desk downstairs in the York Foyer - the convention area for the weekend. There you will receive your personal badge and further conference documents.

Gala Dinner and Dance Saturday Evening with Keynote Speaker

At 7.00 p.m. we will welcome our banquet guests for pre-dinner drinks before asking you to join us for dinner, music and dancing, all of which will commence at 8.00 p.m sharp and include a guest keynote speaker.

Dresscode: We want people to feel comfortable so the dress code is smart casual for both our ladies and gentlemen. Please see photographs from our previous dinner to see how lovely everyone looked and how much fun was had! Costs: A three course meal are included in the price (of a purchased ticket). Following dinner and the keynote address, guests will have the use of the conventions private bar (unfortunately drinks not included).

  Meals

On Saturday and Sunday there will be a one-hour lunch break. No presentations will be held during the lunch break and the hotel will provide guests with information with regards to lunch menus etc. Please pay the hotel directly for your food/refreshments as these are not inclusive in the convention price. Please allow for enough time to make sure that you are back in time for your presentations.

If you do not wish to eat at the hotel, there are numerous eateries within the vicinity and along Bath Road.

Bring your sun tan lotion - November is a scorcher in London! 

 Feedback Forms

For every presentation we will provide you a pad of feedback forms which will be collected after the lecture.

Support/Information

Both, the hotel and we from the Hypnosis Convention are at your disposal at any time to answer your questions and provide you with information. 

Video- / Audio- Recording

Our presenters are incredibly generous with sharing knowledge and their expertise. Because of this generosity we simply ask that you clear any recording with the individual speakers before their presentations commence and obviously before sharing the subsequent recordings on social media and with students.

We aim to record the majority of presentations in 2018 

Photos

We are happy to allow photography during the convention. We simply ask all participants to respect one another.

If you do not like being photographed, please inform us during the registration. Your badge will be marked accordingly. 

Sale of Products and Services, Courses, Advertisement for Lecturers

We will set up a sales room/area where products and services will be on offer. It is also possible to advertise for organisations and schools. If you are interested in a stall, please do not hesitate to contact us: info@ukhypnosisconvention.net - Terms and conditions for obtaining a stall during the convention.

Additionally we may consider offering a limited number of advertisement opportunities to participants and outside organisations. 

Flyers

We will designate an area in the hotel where our lecturers can display their flyers/leaflets free of charge.

Presentations Schedule and Room Allocation

Due to organisational reasons there might be some changes with regards to scheduling and room allocation. We will announce any changes via the web and/or e-mail. The timetable will appear in due time on our homepage and attendees will receive one in advance of the convention. 

Pre- and Post-convention Seminars

We will hold various pre & post convention seminars. These seminars are not included in the price for attending the conference. Please book and pay for these seminars separately HERE.
