THE ROLE OF VISUALIZATION IN HYPNOSIS FOR HEALING – KATHY GRUVER
You can’t have hypnosis without visualization but what are some of the specific roles that visualization can play? Using specific guided journeys, creative visualization and the client’s own imagination to create therapeutic stories to help clients heal faster. Part hypnosis, part guided imagery, part improv and thinking on your feet. Using these client-created journeys can speed healing and allow you to have quicker, more effective outcomes.
Help hypnotherapists tap in to their own creativity to use imagination and visualization to help clients heal. To think on their feet to use the client’s own words and images to further the story. Be comfortable in following the client’s lead, wherever it may go. Have a few standard journeys or imaginations that can be a back pocket plan for clients who get stuck.
Kathy has been using visualization and imagery her whole life and for over 2 decades with clients. She is also an improv performer and will teach games to help hypnotherapists tap into their own creativity.
